HOW DOES YOUR PLATE LOOK LIKE?



I find many of us have a lot of variety in our meals. Immaterial of which part of India we come from some plates are over full. Some people think that's ok because the food on the plate is healthy. Please remember, if your intention is to lose weight then calories matter most and when you have more variety you inadvertently tend to increase your calorie intake and thus increase your weight.

An occasional heavy meal for a marriage or other occasions is fine but please see to it that your daily meal plate sticks to the healthy plate of 25% carbs, 25% protein , 50% vegetables.
